1Scope and responsibility

This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') applies to all use of ChatBucket Private Limited's business services, including accounts, employees and contractors using an account, customer integrations, prompts, uploaded content, training materials, contact lists, inbound and outbound campaigns, voice and chat agents, APIs and generated outputs.

Customers are responsible for their end users, lawful instructions, permissions and account security. Use the services only for lawful, authorised purposes consistent with the Customer Agreement and applicable law. Customers must not bypass product restrictions or use third parties to evade this policy.

2Prohibited illegal or harmful conduct

Do not use ChatBucket for scams, fraud, phishing, credential theft, unlawful harassment, threats, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, illegal discrimination, financing or promotion of terrorism, money laundering, sanctions evasion, prohibited goods or unlawful services.

Do not distribute malware; conduct unauthorised security testing; interfere with systems or network operations; evade quotas, billing or rate limits; scrape or misuse personal data; exploit vulnerabilities; or provide false identity or business information.

Do not send unlawful bulk marketing, misleading commercial messages, or communications to people who have opted out or whose consent or other lawful contact basis is absent.

3Identity, synthetic content and voice safeguards

Do not impersonate a person or organisation, falsely present an AI system as an authorised human representative, clone or synthesise an identifiable person's voice without the necessary authority and permissions, or create deceptive audio intended to defraud or manipulate recipients.

Where required by applicable law, contract or context, disclose that a recipient is interacting with an AI-generated voice or automated agent. Customers must not use synthetic voices, translated communications or generated content to evade identity, recording or consumer-protection requirements.

4Outbound calling and messaging

Outbound calls, SMS, WhatsApp and other campaigns must comply with applicable telecommunications, DND/opt-out, consent, sender-registration, calling-time, content, recording and sector-specific rules. Customers must maintain evidence of any required permission and promptly honour opt-out or suppression requests.

Customers are responsible for the legality and accuracy of imported contact lists and campaign templates. ChatBucket may require verification, throttle or stop campaigns, restrict caller IDs/numbers, or request additional documentation where necessary for compliance or safety.

5Recording, privacy and protected information

Do not collect, upload, transcribe, process or disclose personal data, confidential records, call recordings or protected content without the necessary rights, notices and lawful basis. Give required recording notices and obtain any applicable consent or authorisation before recording or analysing conversations.

Use data minimisation, access controls and reasonable retention settings. Do not upload highly sensitive information unless the contracted service and signed data-processing terms permit it and the required technical and legal safeguards have been agreed.

6AI outputs, high-impact use and human oversight

AI-generated answers, translations, summaries and transcripts can be incomplete or inaccurate. Customers must evaluate output quality and use human review where decisions materially affect individuals or where law requires professional judgement.

Do not use ChatBucket as an emergency-response service or as the sole basis for medical diagnosis, credit eligibility, insurance decisions, employment decisions or other consequential outcomes without the safeguards, human oversight and regulatory authorisations required for the use case. Do not represent generated content as independently verified when it is not.

7Reports, investigation and enforcement

Report suspected misuse to support@chatbucket.business with relevant identifiers, dates and a concise description. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive personal information through email. We may investigate alleged violations using proportionate measures consistent with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Depending on severity, we may warn, request corrections, limit features, pause campaigns, suspend access or terminate services under the Terms. Immediate action may be necessary for serious safety, security or legal risks. Where appropriate, customers may request review of an enforcement decision through support.

8Updates, contacts and related policies

We may revise this AUP to address service changes, emerging abuse methods or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated where required by the Customer Agreement or applicable law.
