1Purpose and scope
This Cookie Policy explains how ChatBucket Private Limited ('ChatBucket', 'we', 'us') uses cookies and similar technologies on chatbucket.business and related browser-based business services. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy. This policy does not replace customer-specific data-processing terms.
Cookies are small text files that a browser stores on a device. Local storage, session storage and similar browser technologies can also preserve settings or identifiers. Different technologies may have different storage lifetimes and deletion mechanisms.
2Storage categories
Essential storage supports login sessions, authentication, security, fraud prevention, requested features, settings, consent preferences and other functionality necessary to provide the service. Essential technologies are not disabled by the optional analytics preference where they are required to deliver requested functionality.
Optional analytics technologies may help us understand aggregate website visits, performance and navigation. We do not activate optional Google Analytics on the public site before the visitor chooses to allow analytics, where consent is the basis used for such tracking. Rejecting analytics must not block access to the public website.
3Cookie and storage register
The list below is a category-level description rather than a claim that every listed cookie is deployed. Exact names, providers, lifetimes and purposes must match the deployed code and be maintained in a live cookie register.
Essential: authentication/session tokens (only where login is used); security and session integrity storage; saved privacy choice; requested user preferences. Retention: for the configured session, service setting or consent-record lifecycle, as applicable.
Optional analytics: Google Analytics cookies or identifiers, including _ga and related measurement identifiers only if Google Analytics is enabled and the visitor has allowed it. Retention: according to the configured Google Analytics and browser settings, which may vary over time.
Embedded third-party services: maps, video or other external content may set their own cookies when activated. Where practical, third-party embeds should use click-to-load or a comparable notice so that the visitor can choose before connecting to the provider.
4Your choice and withdrawal
On your first eligible visit, you can choose Essential Only or Allow Analytics. You may change your selection later using Manage Cookie Preferences. A withdrawal applies to future optional collection; it cannot retroactively delete information already received by an analytics provider.
Where feasible, our preference tool will remove first-party optional analytics cookies. You may also clear browser cookies or storage and use browser privacy controls. Clearing storage may sign you out or reset saved preferences.
5Google Analytics and external providers
If enabled, Google Analytics may process usage information such as visited pages, device/browser signals, approximate location derived from IP address, and online identifiers under Google's applicable terms and policies. Google acts according to its own privacy documentation and the configuration selected for the website.
Google Maps, video players and other embeds are separate services. The analytics preference does not by itself control cookies or requests from every third-party embed. Visit the provider's policy for more information. Do not assume that enabling Analytics automatically authorises unrelated advertising or marketing tags.
6Updates and contact
We may revise this Cookie Policy when our technologies, providers or legal requirements change. The Last updated date shows the latest published revision. Material changes will be communicated where legally required.
